Nigeria My Country!!! “A Disaster of my Generation”

 Nigeria My Country!!!

          “A Disaster of my Generation”

So, i do not know where to pick it up or where to begin, it is bad enough that Africa has been made to become shambles despite the fact that she is the first and greatest continent on earth which is why our white brothers came to steal our resources from us and even made us slaves and till date we are yet to wake up from this curse. But this article is not focused on Africa or the White people but on my so called country tagged as Giant of Africa “Nigeria”.

It still marvels me how a giant suddenly became an ant where illiterates and criminals are ruling the elites, literates and icons. How on earth did we get here and why is it so difficult for us to make a change?

Some people blame the white people for structuring and naming Nigeria, some blame the god forsaking government and good for nothing criminals, but i blame Nigerians all around the world including myself.

Like Aremu Afolanyan mentioned in one of his videos; “The problem of Nigeria is Nigerians especially the youths”. There is power in unity, there is power in the crowd and there is power in our vote and voices… We have seen the same situations in other parts of the world especially in a democratic system. The people in government are just 1% of Nigerians. The military and police are just 3% of Nigerians but yet we have become slaves in our nation and can no longer speak freely or for our right due to oppression and fear.

I hear there are bandits, bokoharam, fulani headsmen and now the jihadist are springing up, yet non of the them caught, the entire Nigerian military and police force do not have sophisticated weapons to face them and all that bullshit… But yet, the bandits have a face and representatives negotiating with the Nigerian government on their behalf, yet Nigerian police force and military have sophisticated weapons to attack peaceful protesters.

Nigerians and the entire world need to realise that the government is behind all the atrocities and mayhem going on in Nigeria, they have made the country a playground where they gamble with people’s lives and cause distractions in order to steal and build wealth for themselves and their useless generations. And this is not about the Hausas or the Igbos or Yorubas but all Nigerians in government today are corrupt and devilish with pride.

If we as Nigerians do not get up to make a change, there will be no place to call home in coming years, if Africans around the world do not stand up to fight for one another, the African continent will become the past and not the future as we fool ourselves. Nigerians in the Diaspora waiting for when things will get better before they go back home are all foolish because no one will fix it for us. We all have to make our country and continent a home that we envision. Whatever we sow today will be what our generations will reap tomorrow.

And do not deceive yourselves waiting for international interventions because they are certainly benefiting from the ongoing chaos going on in different parts of Africa.

My People Wake Up!!!
